Where Jesus is Dethroned All Lights Are Out

“The Lord saw how great man’s wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. The Lord was grieved…” Genesis 6:5.6.

There where God is treated as dead all moral arguments are murdered as well. When all moral reasoning rooted in God is turned upside-down, confusion and deception prevail. Paul describes the condition well: “Although they knew God, they neither glorified Him as God nor gave thanks to Him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.” Romans 1:21.

When God is pushed out of the picture evil flourishes by design, queasy science replaces religion, and human life is handled as disposable commodity. There the Orwellian governance and the Kafkian justice reign. You know we have reached the antichrist’s times when it becomes politically correct to call evil good, and good evil.

We are worshiping beings. Let us not be naïve. Neutrality is not given to us as an option. Wherever God is dethroned, Satan reins one way or another. Bob Dylan prophetically declared more than thirty years ago in a song: “You’re gonna have to serve somebody, it may be the devil or it may be the Lord, but you’re gonna have to serve somebody!”When Jesus Christ is dethroned all lights are out and all hell breaks loose.

Has our world reached the tipping point yet? Almost!  But hear the good news: God is alive and well, and He will not be bullied forever.

One Response to Where Jesus is Dethroned All Lights Are Out

  1. Additional thoughts: The wrath of God against mankind comes because we are deliberately shutting our eyes to the overwhelming evidences of the existence of God. We tell God into His face that He does not exist because we do not want to be accountable to Him. As we continue to lie to ourselves and to God that we do not see the evidences of His existence, the image of God in us degenerates and we become more and more beast-like. One cannot live on a borrowed morality for too long. There where God is declared dead, the humanity and the dignity of man are murdered too.
